Each year, Palermo Heart to Heart continues the great work of the Beads of Courage Program not only through the support of volunteers, organizations and YOU, but also through events that help to kick-start financial efforts and celebrate this amazing cause for children:
Come join us for our 35th year in supporting our mission of making a difference in the life of a child in treatment for cancer and other serious chronic illnesses. Over the years you have seen the children helped through the generous support and donations made possible by you. In the past 15 years, monies raised has gone to support a dynamic arts-in-medicine program called Beads of Courage. Presently we support five Beads of Courage children’s hospitals in Pennsylvania. Many of the children in the Greater Hazleton area have received treatment at one of those hospitals. As you can see what started out nearly 35 years ago honoring the memories of Frank “Froggy” Palermo and Attorney James Palermo has turned into a cause larger than anyone could have expected.
